Summary

After a devastating fire in 1991, Buxton Mill was rebuilt, faithfully, restoring it to its 18th Century glory under the supervision of architect Keith Reay who used 19th Century North American Pitch Pine (the original material used for the mill) salvaged from across Britain. At the time it was the largest timber framed re-construction ever to take place in the UK.

The interior of Bure View is impressive, as you walk into the hall, the vaulted ceiling and sky light give an impression of space and light but this is merely the gateway to the other stunning rooms.
